Photography was established in 1962. Over the last 42 years,
our reputation for exceptional quality, outstanding customer
service and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere has been well established.
Our professional photographic staff has over 120 years of combined
experience in a wide variety of photographic disciplines.
The
studio has photographed dignitaries ranging from President Johnson,
President Ford, President Clinton and President George
W. Bush to Queen Noor of Jordan, Israeli Prime Minister Rabin,
and Secretary of State Colin Powell.
Weddings are especially important to us. Having photographed
over 4000 couples, including celebrities like Katie Couric, Montel
Williams and Boomer Esiason, you can rest assured we will capture
one of the most important days of your life.

History
Greenwood Photography first opened for business in Marumsco
Plaza in 1962.
The name is derived from the founder, Mr. Edward
J. Greenberg and the town, Woodbridge. Mr. Greenberg, a retired
army photographer, had distinguished himself in service by photographing
such dignitaries as Winston Churchill, Dwight Eisenhower, and
Queen Elizabeth.
Mr. Richard Ruff, the current owner, joined the studio in 1963
as an apprentice to Mr. Greenberg. Then, as now, the studio specialized
in wedding photography, portraits, and military events. In 1975,
Mr. Ruff, purchased the studio and continues to manage it to this
day.
During Mr. Ruffs' ownership,
the studio has grown to employ four professional photographers
making it one of the largest in the area. These customer oriented
professionals cover events with unique experiences and styles.
The studio has photographed dignitaries ranging from President
Johnson, President Ford, President Clinton and President George
W. Bush to Queen Noor of Jordan, Israeli Prime Minister Rabin
and Secretary of State Colin Powell.
Greenwood Photography continues to offer exceptional quality
portraits for a select clientele in a relaxed atmosphere of personalized
service. The staff now photographs as many as 120 weddings a
year for the discriminating bride who wants only the best and
most professional coverage of her day. The studio has provided
wedding photography for the daughters of many governmental and
military leaders as well as for television personalities such
as Montel Williams and Katie Couric of NBC's Today Show. In addition
to weddings and portraits, Greenwood also photographs a number
of military balls, political action committees, and political
events.
Over the last 44 years, the
studios' professionalism has resulted in a superb reputation for
exceptional quality and customer service.
